There are ample short stay parking spaces, with a central car park in the Market Square, with the first 2 hours free. Burgh le Marsh bypass which opened in November 2007 dropped the traffic flow by up to 80% making the town a much more peaceful and relaxed place to be in. Enabling a good environment for cycling & walking.

Tinker’s Green located in the centre of Burgh le Marsh, at the end of Jackson’s Lane near the Village Hall is a play and recreational area for children of all ages. For the young children there is a safe enclosed play section. This consists of swings, slides & climbing frames with picnic benches for the less energetic adults. The remainder of Tinker’s Green allows the playing of football and field games. Dogs are also allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Wheelers Rest for bed and breakfast

Doug and Margaret Purdy offer you a friendly welcome to The Wheelers Rest Motel which is located on the outskirts of Burgh le marsh and is part of the Lincolnshire Shooting Complex. There is ample secure parking available. All rooms have the amenities you would expect, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave oven and full central heating for those occasional chilly nights. The room rate also includes a full traditional English breakfast which is served in the restaurant attached to the LSC. Stopping during a weekend why not try a freshly home cooked Sunday lunch, using fresh local produce and meat. Due to their popularity booking is advisable.

There are numerous well stocked fishing lakes nearby and the adjoining countryside offers good walking and cycling opportunities along with golf courses and driving ranges. The busy coastal resorts of Skegness and Ingoldmells are only a short drive.country walks The market towns of Boston, Spilsby, Alford are easily accessible the Cathedral city of historic Lincoln is approximately less than an hours drive. In the evenings you are welcome to relax in our club which includes a well stocked bar. Or enjoy an evening stroll in to Burgh le marsh which as several pubs and eateries for you to sample.
