Take advantage of relaxing in the light and airy atmosphere of the Community Tea room which can easily be found along Church Street in Burgh le Marsh, only a short walk from the Market Place carpark. Part of the Burgh le Marsh Community Complex it offers hot and cold drinks along with snacks; all served with a friendly smile from one of the volunteer helpers. While you are enjoying your break there is also the chance to pick up a great bargain from the many new and pre-owned items that are offered for sale at great prices including artworks by local artist’s.
Profits from the tearoom go towards the nearby Church of England Parish Church, St.Peter & St.Paul’s a fine example of fourteenth century Church architecture. The Church interior is well worth a visit containing a wonderful eagle lectern, carved from oak by a local barber and historian Jabez Good in the mid 1800’s.
