A National Trust owned country house built in 1700 set in Victorian walled gardens on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

There are three floors to explore, from the elegant Dining Room to the Cedar Bedroom and the Basement Kitchen. Several events are held during the year.

THE COUNTY

Opened in 1962 and one of the oldest attractions in Skegness, the Model Village can be found on South Parade. A quaint model village (not Skegness), which includes shops, church, amusement park, haunted castle and lots more including a ‘G scale’ railway winding through the village & surrounding country side.
For a nice quite break from the hustle and bustle of the town the model village offers relaxation and enjoyment. A must see in Skegness, for children & adults of all ages.

Tip:See if you can find the 3 legged dog.

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Coningsby . Approx 24 miles from  Burgh-le-Marsh

The RAF BBMF hangar is located within the boundaries of RAF Coningsby and viewing the Flight’s historic aircraft at close quarters is available only by guided tour. You will be shown around the hangar by volunteer guides. Tours of the hangar last approximately one to one and half hours. Tickets are available through the visitor Centre.

The only place in the country to see a
Lancaster Bomber on an original wartime airfield. Including, original Control Tower, NAAFI and an emotionally evocative Memorial Chapel containing the 848 names of personnel who gave their lives from this airfield.
